The best Pre-Kindergarten & AASD 4K Program in Appleton, WI
I am Christa and I am the lead teacher in the Prekindergarten classroom. I have worked here since 2013. I have been in the Infant and Preschool 2 classroom before moving into PreK. I studied at UW-Stevens Point with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in ESL, graduating in 2010. I love working with this age group, as they are learning so much each day and it is so fun seeing those light bulbs go on when they understand a new concept! In my spare time, I love watching movies, trying out new recipes and spending time with my family. I am married to an amazing man named Bee, as of September 2015 . We had our Hmong wedding in June of 2015. Feel free to come say “Hi” to me in PreK.
Hi! My name is Brittany M and I am the 4K teacher here at YCDC. I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2008 and have experience with many different age groups from Infants to School-Agers. I graduated from UW-Stout in 2011 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and hold my DPI teaching license. Teaching and working with children has always been a passion of mine since a very young age. My favorite part is watching the children learn and grow and play each and everyday. I love to see them get excited about school, their friends and I feel very proud to say that I was their “first school experience.”
I’m Abbey H and I have worked at Young Child Development Center since 2011. I graduated from Triton College with a general Associates degree. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago. I moved to Appleton with my husband and we have four children. I enjoy reading, sewing and quilting, and creating messy crafts. I am an Assistant Teacher in 4K during the school year and work with the School Agers and drive the bus on field trips during the summer. I float in all the classrooms pretty regularly year round. I have fun everyday with the children at the center introducing new ideas, encouraging independence and self-confidence through play. I have the opportunity to see most of the classrooms daily and interact with a variety of age levels and developmental stages which keeps me on my toes.
