Hi, my name is Radhika R. As a mother of three, I combine my own experiences with different learning methods to make learning fun. I have been with Young Child Development Center for more than six years and offer a unique learning experience for my students. My education includes a B.A. in History and a certification in Early Childhood Teacher Assistant. I live in Appleton with my husband, two sons and daughter. MY oldest son recently graduated from Marquette University and is now an officer in the Marines. My daughter is also a student at Marquette University and my youngest son is in 10th grade at Appleton North High School. As a family we enjoy road trips, cooking, and hiking.
I have lived in Appleton all of my life and I have two children, Christa and Brian. I have a degree in Human Services from UW-Oshkosh and worked in the children care field from 1985 – 2000 as a teacher, director and recruiter. Along with my duties at Young Child Development Center I am an Administrative Assistant at St. John’s Church in Little Chute and an associate at Christopher and Banks. I enjoy going antiquing, growing flowers and dogs and cats.
Bio coming soon!
Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I am currently working on a degree in Early Childhood Education at UW-Stevens Point. I started working here at YCDC in May of 2015 and hope to work on school breaks throughout my college career. I come from a large family and I have a lot of cousins, so I have been around children all of my life. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, so it is exciting to see that finally become a reality. When I am not working I love to spend time with my friends and family. Overall, I believe watching children grow and learn is truly something special and I can’t war to see what the future holds!
Hi, I am Katie S and I am the center cook. I enjoy preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children. When I deliver breakfast and lunch to the classrooms daily I get some interaction with the children and enjoy chatting with them.
