“My oldest started at YCDC at eight months old after in-home childcare didn’t work out for us. We were drawn by the smaller feel of the center, attention to detail, and educational curriculum and policies that are used. We have now been a part of YCDC for four years, and I can still say that every single one of the teachers and staff have been wonderful to our family. They seek my children out by name, get on their level, and take an honest interest in them. Everyone speaks kindly and respectfully to the children.
My kids are learning to make friendships, address conflict in a positive way, manage emotions, use words to describe feelings, and so much more. I am honestly so impressed by the studies they are doing and topics they are learning about at such a young age. I also love the many opportunities for families to get involved and interact with each other and the teachers.
My kids LOVE the summer park nights, bike parades, scavenger hunts, etc. They even offer twice a year parent-teacher conferences, monthly newsletters, they set goals for the children, and all of the teachers have been easily accessible if a need or question arises. The staff really puts an emphasis on making sure the program is a great experience for everyone. We are just so grateful that we can rest assured that our children are well cared for while we can’t be with them. YCDC has truly been a blessing to our family!”

“Our oldest started at YCDC at 6 months old after being at an in-home daycare for 3 months. We noticed an immediate improvement in her temperament after a week of being there. You can tell the teachers all love their job, and they have been so supportive thru all the milestones of development. Our second child started attending at 3 months old and she too grew leaps and bounds after starting. She is just shy of being 2 years old and is noticing and calling out when others are happy and sad and tries to comfort others when they are sad. She has also begun randomly singing songs that I know she is learning during the day. Our oldest started 4K thru the Appleton School District, and it is so nice to have one place for daycare and 4K. YCDC feels like an extension of our family and we are so grateful that our girls attend there.”
